Today we will be sharing with you recipes for a face pack you can make at home. Green tea face pack is very effective in protecting the skin from the harmful effects of sunlight as well as to prevent the burning sign of the skin from sunbeam. Here are the 9 recipes of green tea face pack that are good for your skin.
1. Green tea and Honey Face Pack
If you suffer from fine lines, wrinkles or dark spots then the honey green tea face mask is perfect for you. This pack will add glow to your face and moisturize it at the same time.
Mix 2 teaspoon of organic honey with 1 to 2 teaspoons of cooled green tea water to get a green tea and honey solution. soak clean cotton balls into the solution and apply it on your face, and wait for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water. Apply this mask twice a week to lessen the signs ageing.
2.Green tea and Lemon Juice Face Pack
Green tea acts as a potent antioxidant and natural UV protector. While lemon juice contains lots of vitamin C that boosts collagen development. It also contains citric acid that tightens skin pores and lightens overall skin.
Take 2 tablespoons of cool brewed green tea, 1/2 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric powder. Turmeric powder is known for its anti-inflammatory properties that can fight acne, eczema and many other skin conditions.
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Using a cotton ball, pat the mask all over cleansed face. Wait for a few minutes for it to dry and repeat. When all of the pack is finished, let it sit for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with cool water and pat your face with a dry towel.
Tip : If the turmeric powder left a stain on your face, use sugar scrub to get rid of it. You can even left it out if you want. The green tea and juice lemon alone are enough for your skin.
3.Green tea, Rice Flour and Lemon Juice Face Pack
Rice flour is a natural ingredient which is helpful in treating blemishes, pigmentation and dark spots. Due to its exfoliating properties, it really helps in absorbing the excess oil and sebum from the face. Regular use of rice flour in face packs helps in imparting a natural glow to your skin and makes it healthy.
Mix 3 tablespoons of cooled green tea with 3 to 4 tablespoons of rice flour. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to form a smooth paste but not runny. Mix in more tea if it is too thick.
Before putting on the face pack, wash your face with your regular cleanser and dry your face with a clean towel. Apply the pack on your face and keep it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing it with cool water. Rinse your face with a lot of water while rubbing the pack to exfoliate your skin. To finish it off, apply your favourite moisturizer after rinsing.
4.Green tea, Sugar and Cream Face Pack
It is well known that sugar is an effective skin exfoliating agent, because the granules act as micro particles to remove dead skin cells and dirt from upper skin layers. The cream hydrates and moisturizes the skin, and makes your skin glow naturally.
Boil some green tea leaves in water, cool it down and strain it to get green tea solution. Take 1 teaspoon of cream and mix in 1 teaspoon of sugar with it. Add 1 to 2 teaspoon of green tea and apply the pack onto your face and slowly scrub in small circular motions using clean fingers. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. This pack is perfect for dry and normal skin.
5.Green Tea, Yogurt and Lemon Juice Pack
Plain yogurt is very gentle and eases the skin off any irritation, plus it is mild on sensitive skin. It works as a good moisturizer and acne fighter because it is full of protein, calcium and vitamin D. While the lemon juice acts as a deep cleanser.
Mix 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. And then add in 1 to 2 teaspoon of cooled green tea. Apply the pack and wait for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing it off with cool water. This pack is suitable for anyone with sensitive skin.
6.Green Tea, Yogurt and Banana Face Pack
This face pack refreshes and rejuvenates dry skins. Furthermore, the banana in this face pack will help to moisturize the skin if your skin is dry.
Mix together 1 teaspoon of a ripe banana and 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of cooled green tea to the mixture to make a smooth paste. Apply the pack on you face and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with cool water.
7.Green Tea, Oats and Eggs Face Pack
Tear open 3 green tea bags into a glass bowl. Then, take a small amount of moisturizer and add to the green tea. Mix in a little bit of granulated sugar or sea salt into the mixture. It will help to exfoliate your face. Add in 2 egg yolks. Lastly, add in a small amount of water and a small quantity of rolled oats. Mix all of the ingredients together. If needed, add more water or oats to get a paste-like consistency.
Before putting on the mask, wash your face with warm water to open up your skin pores. Apply the mask using your fingertips. Leave it to dry and then wash your face with water. Lastly apply your favourite moisturizer.
8.Green Tea and Sugar Scrub Face Pack
Mix in cooled green tea with several tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir it until it thickens. Add in water, honey or essential oil of your choice to get a scrub desired consistency. This pack does not only exfoliates, but it smells sweet and light. Plus it will imparts a natural glow to your skin. You can even use this pack on your legs, arms, anywhere you want. Keep the leftover in your fridge to keep it fresh.
9.Green Tea and Aloe Vera Face Pack
Take 2 spoons of cooled green tea and add 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed aloe vera gel extracted from 3 to 4 aloe vera leaves. Apply it your face and let it stay for about 15 minutes and wipe it off with a moist towel and water. This pack is good for brightening skin.
